Facebook like instead share?

    Currently it is not possible to include a Facebook “like” button the same way, all other buttons are implemented (e.g. a one click solution). More information can be found in this discussion of the original Shariff code by Heise: https://github.com/heiseonline/shariff/pull/6

    I don’t understand what you mean by “the counter is unused”. The counter shows the number of shares of the post / page, just like with any other service. Shares and Likes are counted separately by Facebook.

    The counter of FB button actually shows the sum of shares, posts and comments – and I must say that it is good this way and please leave this as it is ??

    You are correct. I got that messed up. We are actually requesting the total shares (shares+likes+comments). It used to be different in the beginning, but total shares where much more useful, because they look better. ??

    Still, a like button is not going to be implemented due to the reasons mentioned above.
