Facebook like doesnt work after latest update

@phattrance – Both of those links have likes and are able to be liked. What browser are you seeing the problem in?

@Shaooxz – Can you provide an example URL that is affected? Also, what browser are you seeing this problem in?

Aaron Jorbin –> this is only for post that are newer than 12 – 24 hours. it usually works fine after that. the problem is on all browsers, tested with IE, firefox, safari and chrome.

Facebook Like is currently experiencing an issue that is happening across their system. Several people in their support forums are reporting it. One solution is to use their URL linter – https://developers.facebook.com/tools/lint/ – to crawl your site. Until they fix this there is nothing more we can do about it.

I tried 3 plugins all ready , most of them pointing to image warnings

Aaron Jorbin –> yeah i know about the linter link, but its a pain in the ass whn you publish more than 40 posts / day!

isnt there a way to add the linter with the plugin? so that it aut sends a ping to the linter url as soon as a new post is published?

this problems is starting to get really annoying since ive had it for almost 2 months now! i mean you think that facebook should have sold this problem by now!

Any idea if the “auto linter” version will be supported in the next update?

We haven’t started scoping features for the next release yet. If someone wrote a patch to do it though i would happily look at and if it was good include it.

This is starting to get ridiculous. Had this problem for over 2 months now and its worse than ever!

Whats up with Facebook? Problem like this should take more than 1 days for the to solve. Do they even know that this problem exist???
