• Hi there,

I need to figure out if the following is possible.

When a facebook user clicks our like button on our website the following needs to happen:

    – users profile information gets written to a file / written in a database
    – user gets a question if user agrees with our privacy policy ( yes / no )

Never edited the like button in any way.. so any info is much appreciated! Thnks

  • I doubt you can extract any profile information from Facebook. They’ve had a lot of negative press about this before.

Sounds a bit dodgy that, capturing people’s info when they click ‘like’. You need to warn people first or risk getting kicked off Facebook. Check FB’s policies as they are quite strict.

I have seen ways of capturing this data, but it’s no easy feat.
