Facebook Like Box height

  • Thank you for the plugin. It is very very handy.

    Is there a way to change the height of the Facebook Like Box? I can’t seem to make it greater than 189 pixels. I’ve seen past forum posts indicating that this is controlled by Facebook. But on the same posts I’ve seen that both the plugin and Facebook have changed since then, so I just wanted to know the latest.

    Can you send me a link to your site with the Like Box failing to display larger? It should default to be quite a bit bigger.

    It’s in the right sidebar.

    Every time I try to increase the height via CSS, it gets truncated at this height. While the page is loading, the widget is displayed at its true, larger height. But when the page completes loading, it reverts back to its short self.

    Hi,

    In Appearance->Widgets, what is the height set for the Like Box? I’m trying to duplicate this on my end.

    Looking, that’s the only thing I can think of is the height isn’t set correctly or we’re borking on processing it. In my tests, the 600px is added to the source:

    whereas it doesn’t appear for you on your site. It should accept any value between 100-9999 and if I try to break it (e.g. entering 600px versus 600) it resets to the default of 432.

    Can you try with all other plugins disabled and with a default theme (e.g. Twenty Fourteen) just to eliminate anything else getting in the way?
