I’m trying to import a Facebook event, and see this error:

Unsupported get request. Object with ID ‘1981126418629947’ does not exist, cannot be loaded due to missing permissions, or does not support this operation. Please read the Graph API documentation at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api

I can View the event even when not logged in to FB, so the ID should be correct.

I’ve saved the Facebook App ID and Facebook App secret to the plugin settings page.

I followed the instructions here to create the FB App:

    https://docs.xylusthemes.com/docs/import-facebook-events/creating-facebook-application/

Everything was exactly as described, until I got to the “Facebook Login> settings” page of the app. I entered the Valid OAuth redirect URI (copied from the WP plugin page where it lists this), but never saw the “Authorize” button described in the instructions. I did click Save Changes here though. Did I miss something?

At upper right it says “Status: In Development,” should that be clicked to “On”? It looks like that makes the app public though, not sure that that’s what’s needed.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I was able to resolve this, I missed the “Authorize” button at the bottom of the settings page.
