Facebook ID doesn’t exist

    Hi,

    I obtain my facebook ID using the various online tools, but Yoast continues to bring the errror: The Facebook App ID you entered doesn’t exist. The submitted value was:123456789

    I know there has been two other support requests for this, one of which was for an APP, this is not an APP.

    The other didn’t seem to provide a solution.

    I have tested this with Yoast on other websites, and the same issue applies.

    Any ideas?

    Your Facebook ID is not the same as a Facebook APP ID.

    First of all, let us clarify that it’s not strictly necessary to enter a Facebook App ID under SEO > Social > Facebook. Leaving this field empty won’t interfere with the ability to share posts on Facebook but may limit your ability to use Facebook features like Insights.
