Facebook icon not showing

Hiya Danny,

the selection sharer of the Inbound Rocket plugin for now works on almost the same principle. Meaning for the Facebook sharing to work, you’ve got to create a Facebook App ID:

https://developers.facebook.com/

And then include the fb:app_id meta tag information in the head your template:

<meta property=”fb:app_id” content=”XXXXXXXX” />

If you’ve got Yoast SEO installed on your website, you can do this quickly via social > Facebook and then connecting your site to your Facebook app if you don’t want to add that one rule into your template manually. And otherwise you can manually add that line in the header.php of your template.

Hi @jcvangent, I’ve switched to the Inbound Rocket option, created my app, and implemented on The SEO Framework (the plugin I use instead of Yoast, but works similarly when it comes to apps and Open Graph).

However, none of the sharing options are coming up when I highlight text. :/
