    Hello.

I’ve been using the plugin for months. I posted messages on Twitter and a Facebook group and everything was fine. But recently the plugin requested reauthorization on facebook, as a result of which I received a message:

It seems that there are no associated groups to your Facebook profile or that you revoked permissions to Nelio Content in Facebook. If that’s not the case, note that Facebook is experimenting some changes in their access policies. To keep users’ information safe and secure, Facebook is changing the way all partners like Nelio Content access data. We are in full support of these changes because we believe they are critical to maintaining trust between our customers and their customers. Some of these changes have impacted or will impact Nelio Content functionality.

I checked the settings of the application on Facebook and made sure that the plug-in was provided with the necessary access.
I tried to delete and re-add the facebook group for publication in the plugin’s settings, but it did not help (the same result).
I tried to remove the access settings for the application on Facebook and added again, making sure that the application has access to facebook group editing. But this also did not help.

    What should I do?

    Hi @zhart!

    What should I do?

Short answer: you should complain to Facebook.

Long answer: Facebook has recently changed their policies and have basically shut third-party tools like ours down—we’re now unable to share content on Facebook groups. Here’s what they said about it:

As we begin enhancing our new app review process and make changes to our platform, the Events, Groups, Pages and Instagram APIs will no longer be available to new developers. Testing of our more robust process starts today and the new process should resume in a few weeks, but apps currently accessing Events and Groups APIs will lose access today. Going forward, access to these APIs will require a formal app review and for apps using the Pages API, submission is required within 90 days once app review resumes or access will be removed.

So there’s nothing we can do, other than complaining to Facebook. This is really infuriating; instead of fixing the platform to make it more secure, they’re simply shutting some APIs down…

    Sorry ??

is there any solutions , plans , hope on the subject or until now it is impossible because of Facebook changes ?

Our app is currently being reviewed (it has been for a few weeks, actually), but we’re still waiting for an answer from Facebook. Let’s wait and see…

AS far as i can see your app has been approved. how do i add more than one group in social profiles list ?

You’re right, it looks like Groups are working once again (even though our app hasn’t been approved by Facebook yet…)

If you want to add more than one group, you need a subscription to Nelio Content. Otherwise, you’re only allowed to have one profile per network.

Actually they doesn’t seem to work. despite the fact that i was able to add group from the dashboard, Post are not being shared to my facebook group.

can you kindly check and advise how it works on your end, maybe there are some changes in API algorithms.
