Facebook Group Activity to WordPress

Hello

This is slowly making me crazy. I promise i have done loads of searching but i am not getting any sense.

I have a facebook Group called the Soho Cricket Collective SCC. I also have a wordpress domain and blog at https://www.sohocricketcollective.com

What I want is to simply post the latest facebook group activity in a widget in a sidebar. You know, posts, updates etc.? But I cannot find anything out there which is not requiring users to like things on my blog or some other action.

Do I need to create a faebook app? (No!!!!!)

Does the group need to be a page instead?
