Facebook / Google counters not working

Did you check by clearing the cache using “Delete Cache” button and also please double check the credentials used for google+?

yes, I have deleted the cache (and again, just to be sure) and the credentials appear absolutely fine (I also double checked the Facebook ID and its definitely correct). I do hope you can help as I’d hate to have to remove the Gogle and Facebook counters?

Can you please use BritishNannies as the Facebook User ID than numerical ID and check?And also facebook has the API limit may be due to which your facebook count may not be showing.To solve which we have implemented the default facebook count in the backend in today’s update in which you can assign the default count yourself manually rather than depending upon the auto fetching from the facebook whenever the API call is failed.

So please update your copy.

And regarding the google plus can you please check your API key here by replacing the API key:

https://www.googleapis.com/plus/v1/people/+British-nanniesUk/?key=YOUR_API_KEY_HERE

And paste the result here.

thank you so much for adding the default count for Facebook – that’s great.

I used the https://www.googleapis.com link you provided above and found an error with the API I had used, and that’s resolved now. Now when I use the link it shows a whole load of information relating to my Google + page including contact info text etc, so that looks good. But my follower count is still not appearing on my website. Any other ideas?

If your API key is correct, it should show the required count.Its strange that it is now showing still.In that case please email us your site wp-admin details to [email protected] and we will check.
