• I am trying to do the plugin ‘Facebook for WordPress’.

    1) When I click on Settings for the Facebook plugin it comes up to a total blank page. There is no ‘Getting Started’ like directions I saw said to click on. And I can’t go any further with a completely blank page.

    2) I get the following message on the plugins page: “***ATTENTION: After upgrade the plugin may be deactivated due to a known issue, to workaround please refresh this page and activate plugin.*** The Facebook pixel is an analytics tool that helps you measure the effectiveness of your advertising. You can use the Facebook pixel to understand the actions people are taking on your website and reach audiences you care about.” ~ I have deactivated it, refreshed it, activated it, several times and I still get this message. Is this a concern?

I would appreciate help on this.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • You should ask at the support forum for the plugin.

    Hi @jcozad127 !

I was struggling with the same issue but a different plugin, this time I am using the Elementor Facebook Widget. After further investigation, due to a similar issue I had with YouTube videos being blocked, I found out that It’s the same with Facebook, it’s being blocked because you need to configure the DOMAINS that are going to be allowed.

    So try this:
    – Go to the plugin configuration, click on DOMAINS.
    – Then look for the Experience/Frames text area
    – Add this URL https://www.facebook.com/
    – Save and refresh your page

    Hope that helps! Cheers!
