    Hi @maslzr

Having admin access to the page isn’t quite enough permission, as required by the Business Manager. Are you also added as an admin to the business manager and related assets?

This should be possible by having them add you into their business manager account via https://business.facebook.com/settings/people/ and assigning you all assets to manage. This should then allow you to run through the new connection process which will create a system user the plugin uses to manage the same assets too.

Please review that support page from Facebook and let us know what you find.

I’m also having Administrator issues. It says our previous Development Company is the Administrator? Even though they’ve removed all links to us from their Business Account. I can’t get past this anyway. Any ideas what I can do?

    “Admin permission required
You don’t have permission to edit these settings. Contact the admin of ”SO Digital Communications” Business Manager to gain access.”

Hey @johndcoy, I am assigned to all assets to manage. I have submitted the same inquiry a while back. This issue was never resolved. But when I use the old Version 1.11.4, it is very good. I can easily configure it.

    Hi @maslzr

I can imagine your frustration dealing with this!

Thank you for using our plugin for quite a while since the earlier versions.

It’s very odd that although you said you’re the Admin of the Business Manager and assigned with assets to manage yet, you’re prompted with the warning, that you need permission.

You please do the following, usually old plugin users find these steps working:

    • Visit your WP-Admin options page https://<your-site>/wp-admin/options.php
    • Find the following field wc_facebook_external_business_id OR something like wc_facebook and then ending with business_id keyword. It may contain some value, usually like: storename-ouh3ylhlrnm0j
    • Please try to remove anything after the store name, and then try to do the connecting process.

Please let me know how it goes!

When I follow this link https://trainedtools.com/wp-admin/options.php, the wordpress admin page open, but where is this options.php? I cannot find it there. Actually finding it is another problem.

    Hi @maslzr

On the page, please scroll down, we’re actually talking about the fields with values on that page.

    Please check this screenshot: https://d.pr/i/XwtFUo

You can search using your keyboard with combination CTRL + F on Windows for wc_facebook_external_business_id and follow the guide as mentioned above.

    Hope that helps!

I am very sorry and thanks for your help, but I really cannot find what you are talking about. Tried to search it with the keyword, https://i.is.cc/1IIg2VmM.png but there is nothing. Can’t believe this issue would last for several months and no solution in sight.

    Hi @maslzr

The page in your screenshot is not the right page. This is a “hidden” page so there is no link to it from the menu, and you should type this address directly in your address bar. Here’s how it should look:
