• Hi Team,

We have 2 issues at the moment:

    1. Low Facebook Catalog Match Rate:

We initially selected the “Use PixelYourSite content_id logic”. We have now switched to “Use Facebook for WooCommerce extension content_id logic” to see if it improves the event matching. Please see the screenshot here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IBjI-pbLVLQ0Dh_iMvVdM6XMU0c0SVr3/view?usp=sharing

As you guys recommend using Facebook for WooCommerce ID logic if it is enabled along with PixelYourSite, we have changed it to Facebook logic ID.

Will it help with improving the Facebook Catalog Match Rate? If so, how long will it take to see the positive impact of changing the logic ID?
    2. Low Event Match Quality:

Our event match quality for View Category, View Product, Add to Cart, and Begin Checkout events is showing 6.1/10 score on Facebook Events Manager which is causing us problems in creating the custom audience based on the above-mentioned events.

The diagnostics show that the server is not picking up a few parameters due to IP being IPV4 instead of IPV6. If we switch to a hosting provider that supports IPV6, will this potentially improve the event matching rate? Could you please review this and suggest an appropriate solution to address this issue?

For context, the website is in the EU region.

Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you.

    Very different issues:

    1. Catalog matching rate: the events must have the same IDs as the items in your Meta Catalog. If the products are uploaded using Facebook for WooCommerce, you need to use that dedicated option inside our plugin.
    2. It’s all explained here: https://www.pixelyoursite.com/facebook-event-match-quality-score

Changing the host will have no impact on events’ IPs. The IP is related to the visitor’s own connection. Some providers simply don’t use IPv6 yet.
