I recently added the Jetpack “Blog Subscriptions” widget to my sidebar. Everything seemed to be alright, as it counted my followers via email, Facebook, and Twitter. But for at least a week the counter has remained at around 110 followers despite my having gained around 20 followers on Facebook. At the moment it shows “112” followers, but by my calculations it should be something like “133.” I’m worried that this might negatively impact the number of people who subscribe to my website.

I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting my site with my Facebook account, and nothing changed in the widget. However, the Facebook follower count has updated in my WordPress.com dashboard.

If someone could tell me what I need to do to fix this, I’d be very grateful.

It just updated a minute ago. I guess it just needed more time.

The connection for the site looks good, and we’ve checked the subscriber counts, which, at present, also look good.

However, if you need any more assistance with this, let us know!
