I have multiple Facebook feeds setup on the website using the shortcode and now the main one is no longer working – just shows up blank. I’ve added the Access Token through your interface and have tried re-adding a new one. I’ve cleared the website cache. I’ve made sure the plugin is up-to-date. WordPress is up-to-date.

Also, I checked and the allow_url_fopen is set to On in my php.ini file.

    Hey @lauramartin,
It appears the feed may be working again can you confirm this for me?

    Thanks,

It just magically just start working again…with no reason why. This makes me question the stability of the plugin but for now, I don’t have anymore time to waste. I’ll just cross my fingers it stays working.

    Hey @lauramartin,
Do you have any other caching plugins active? Also it could possibly be Facebook API’s were down for a short while due to all of the big news about their data breach using the API’s which we have no control over.

If you experience issues again though feel free to hit us up!

    Thanks,

Well that is some good news. One thing to always be mindful of is that all social feeds rely on the API’s provided by that specific social network and at anytime they could be making changes or updates that could cause breif outtages. So in some small way any social plugin will be at the mercy of the API providers. In this case fb did recently go through a huge issue with a company where major abuse was occurring and so I would not doubt if certain functionalities were limited in some fashion or another. This is the first report of any outtages but not getting more details on your specific case it’s tough to pinpoint the cause. Let us know of course if this happens in the near future and we’ll be glad to take a closer look:) Spencer

I did consider facebook being the issue but all of our other feeds were working fine. I had to remove one feed a while ago that never worked. It was a page that had been renamed at some point and was pointing to the old logo that never existed. That might be something to look into.

I am also having issues where the Facebook Event Feed is no longer showing. It worked when I first installed the plugin and now doesn’t show anything. I generated a new shortcode and cleared the cache and still nothing.

    The page is https://blanchards.net/tastings/

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
