    Hey guys,

    how are you?
    @rextheme

    `I have uploaded the catalog created with the plugin “Product Feed Manager – WooCommerce to Google Shopping, Idealo, Social Catalogs, Vivino & More” but unfortunately I can’t get an exact matching with the standard facebook events (viewcontent, addtocart).

    My first question is: what is the difference between “facebook” merchant and “instagram (by facebook)” merchant.

    Our business uses both: facebook shop and instagram shop.
    Which of the two merchants is more suitable?

    The catalog has been generated using the merchant “facebook”.
    I attach two screens.
    In the first one, I use your plugin and I get warnings from pixel helper.

    In the second one I use a different plugin and I don’t get any warning.

    How can I solve it?

    I don’t understand where is the problem because in both catalogs in the facebook business manager, the mapping of the article fields is the same and the same data are present.

    Thank you so much.

  • Hi @giofabbrocino ,

    Well, as per my knowledge there are no differences between Facebook and Instagram feeds, but if you find any issue, you can let us know and we will have a look at this.

    Regarding your Facebook Pixel Helper warning, can you please send your Facebook feed link and screenshots of your feed attributes, feed settings, and the feed filter settings section here?

    Let me know.

    Thank you.

    Hey Rafi, thanks for the reply!

    I solved the matching problem, so don’t worry.
    There’s is no problem in the catalog generated with your plugin
    Maybe I’m wrong, but I think the problem is in the tracking type: facebook official template in google tag manager are not compatible and I don’t understand why.

    I set up facebook events tracking via google tag manager with two alternatives ways:

    1)Tracking with facebook official template tracking tag;
    or
    2)Tracking with custom html tag written by my self;

    I have to say there wasn’t match with option 1)
    I solved with option 2)

    It would be nice to fix and make it possible to track with both options 1) and 2)
    Here’s the repository link from meta: https://github.com/facebookarchive

    Do you have any ecommerce tracking facebook standard events with option 1) and using your plugin to create a catalog feed?

    Thank you so much!

    However, if you can check this kind of situation, I could install tracking with official facebook template (option 1)).

    Here’s what you asked:

    – feed link: https://franklybubbletea.com/wp-content/uploads/rex-feed/feed-13928.xml

    – attributes: https://paste.pics/GWCB3

    -settings: https://paste.pics/GWCBC

    – filters: https://paste.pics/GWCBM

    Please let me know!
    Thanks!
