  • Hi there, any update to getting this plugin to work?

Same boat. Any update on getting the plugin back up and running? Or a work around?

    Hello @siqve006,@inkt

Sorry for issue, Recently Facebook has updated API and stopped providing event data. So no plugin can take event data from Facebook.

Yesterday they have again restricted API for all apps so Facebook Event import will not work due to issue at Facebook end. We are not able to Import Event by Facebook Page also.

We are keeping close watch on it, as soon as Facebook gives access we will make sure plugin works fine.

    Sorry for trouble and inconvenience.

Here is post from Facebook about same.

    Thanks

    Hi
When do you expect to have it work again ?

    Hi All,

We have updated plugin to show Event data using Page ID. It will show as embedded events. WE have sortcode so you can use for in sidebar and page too.

H- how about posting the short code so your users can actually make this work – not working for me at all. Entered page ID in existing shortcode. didn’t work. Deleted API key and secret in settings and now an error message also (please enter your key and secret).

This isn’t good service for a paid plug in.

    Hello @dermoertl,

Shortcode is given below, can you please confirm you are using same. Please make sure that page_url has the full Facebook page URL and not just page id. have you entered Facebook APP ID and Secret in setting screen?

    [fb_event_widget page_url=”https://www.facebook.com/redbull/” small_header=”true”]

Also as Facebook has restricted Facebook API so this shortcode will not render the custom layout. Shortcode will render facebook embed page widget and will display events inside it. liek this screenshot. https://ps.w.org/xt-facebook-events/assets/screenshot-8.png?rev=1870960

Feel free to contact us if you have any other issue.

    Thanks

    Hello
I’m trying to use your plugin but nothing shows on my page, even when I strictly copy and paste your redbull example shortcode.
