Facebook : “Do not sync” product

    How do I correct this?

    My Facebook link has been broken for my products to be listed on on FB and IG store pages.

    I know what I did to cause it. Under the woocommerce > Facebook > product sync tab I selected the EXCLUDE CATEGORY (mine was TRADE) because I didn’t want the prices for my dealers to show. Well, to my surprise, all those products were removed from FB and IG.. not the prices. Anyhow, I deleted TRADE category from the excluded categories and sync’ed the products again and now they won’t sync.

    Under the products page (on wordpress) for all those products it says “Do not sync”.

    Hi @townerusa,

    Simon stepping in here for Julie! Thanks for the information you’ve passed over so far. I’d like to quickly go over the root issue to make sure we’re looking in all the right areas.

    My understanding is that your products were suddenly removed from your Facebook shop and Instagram when you added a category to the exclusion list in the plugin settings. You’ve since then removed the category but the products are still not syncing, is that about right so far?

    When adding a category to the exclusion list, it should popup a modal confirmation asking if you’d like to exclude these products, or exclude and delete the products. The latter would then delete them from your Facebook catalog, not the WooCommerce store.

    If you then removed the category exclusion, the previous settings of the product are still in place, that is, they will still be marked as “Do Not Sync” if you chose to delete them from the catalog. It doesn’t automatically enable sync again in this case.

    If you’d like to re-enable sync for some or all of these products, I would suggest using the bulk action options on the Products > All Products page. This lets you select multiple products at a time and set their sync status accordingly.

    Would it be possible to give this a go and let me know if the products start syncing correctly again?
