facebook counter stop working

    Hi there,

    Facebook counter values are stored on Facebook’s end and retrieved by our plugin to show on the page. They could be reset if the permalinks for your posts changed, or if your Open Graph or canonical meta tags have different URLs than before. Do you know if this is the case?

    thanks a lot for your reply, Paul.

    if by permalinks you mean the post urls, I think that shouldn’t be a problem. they should remain the same as last week.

    about Open Graph meta tags I could not tell. ?is there a way I could guess that?

    but the problem is only affecting new posts.

    figures should be similar in both but are in fact quite different.

    the twitter account stopped suddenly showing figures some months ago and hasn’t come back to life since then.
