Facebook comments displayed only?

  • Hi,
    Looks like a great plugin! I’m looking for something to replace an old facebook comments plugin. I want to be able to allow comments on my website page that show up on the commenters fb page.
    I’d also like to pull in comments and display ones from certain pages on certain website pages.

    Also – can it work with groups, or only pages?

  • The plugin is able to display the comments associated to each post on your site page(s).

    You can run multiple feeds on a single website page or you can scattered the feeds across your site on different pages if you wish.

    The plugin works with both Facebook Group accounts and Page accounts but the accounts cannot be restricted. Example: You cannot retrieve data from Facebook through their API on a Page account that has a country or age restriction setting applied as Facebook would have no way of knowing if the restriction was enforced as essentially the whole world might be able to see your web page.

    After I re-read my response I realized it could be mis-interpreted to the question asked.

    Just to clarify my earlier response…. when I stated “The plugin is able to display the comments associated to each post on your site page(s).” what I meant by this is the plugin is able to display the comments from each post within your Facebook account that you are retrieving data from but it does not take comments left on your WordPress site and post them to Facebook. If a person wished to leave a comment on a Facebook post they would still have to click the link and be logged into the Facebook program to post the comment.
