Facebook Category mapping don’t work

    If I use Facebook product category, and select the Facebook category map, the Facebook shop field remains empty. Instead it seems to work by inserting a google category map. But it’s a shame, because Facebook allows you to distinguish the categories of men’s and women’s clothing. This thing is lost when using Google product categories. Is there a way to use Facebook’s ones?

    Based on your issue description, it seems that you are encountering an issue with Facebook category mapping, as your catalog appears to be empty. We suggest that you take the following steps: first, review your feed and check if the attribute “fb_product_category” contains a category ID or not. If there is an ID present, it should display the category associated with the product category ID on your catalog. However, according to Facebook Doc, they prefer to use either the Google product category or the Facebook product category.

    Right now, I installed the official facebook for woocommerce plugin and everything works, even the product ID. But this uses Google categories, not Facebook ones. Your plug-in, however, works perfectly, synchronizes everything except the Facebook product categories field, which remains empty. Instead, if I use the Google ones, everything is ok in the category field. Maybe it’s a Facebook problem, not your plugin.

    We haven’t found such an issue before. Still, we can ensure that if there’s a category ID on your “fb_product_category,” it must display the category associated with the product category ID on your catalog. Even after that, it won’t appear, and if you think it’s the issue with the Facebook end, you can talk to the meta support team.
