Facebook bots – again

  • Each time I link to a post on my facebook page, there is an immediate surge of FB bots (usually 7) showing up in the statistics, making them globally unusable.

    Is there a way to exclude them?

    Yes, but I also tested while posting to my own timeline, and the result was the same.

    @tdebaillon Could you check something for me? I’d like to know if you see data in the Devices report and if you see the following file in the plugin:

    wordpress/wp-content/plugins/independent-analytics/temp/device-detector.json

    Hi, sorry for my late reply, I was away for a few days.

    Yes, the file is present, and data is available. Yet there are only 2 prebuilt reports (browsers and OS).

    No worries, thanks for letting me know. Two pre-made reports is normal. We’ll continue debugging.
