• I tried to install this plugin but then encountered an error. A few hours later my Business Manager was restricted because of the “suspicious activity”. Everything inside that BM was banned including Ad accounts and all personal accounts. It’s important to note that my BM account is highly credible and hasn’t been banned before because of violating policy.
I tried to report this to Facebook several times but the issue is so complex that normal Facebook support does not have the tool to resolve and they have to ask the “internal team” for help. It has been a month now and this issue damages our businesses badly.
Beware of this scam, it may shut down your Facebook business account and everything inside for months.

    Hi @andynattrucks

I am sorry to hear that you have such a very unpleasant experience with Facebook for WooCommerce plugin.

Please note we haven’t heard any similar report previously saying that ad accounts were banned because of using our plugin.

Personally I have an old Facebook ad-account and has been running without a problem with Facebook for WooCommerce.

I understand that you have concluded the “account-ban” was related to Facebook for WooCommerce as the error encountered during installation came before the Business Manager “suspicious activity” notice later on.

Please note that it’s quite impossible that our plugin to have caused the account-ban as the plugin has integrated with Facebook officially through our WooCommerce Integration app. Thus, any activity arising out of it can’t be categorized as “suspicious”.

If you happened to contact us regarding that error during installation, we would be more than happy to investigate and resolve the error.

Now if you have the Facebook for WooCommerce error logs, and want us to take a look further at them, feel free to submit a ticket on our website.

You can contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

We will be able to help you further there.

Apart from that, I do hope that Facebook will get back to you soon and remove the restriction, provided that you have sent them an appeal.

Then you already have the same two cases, my store was also turned off and the possibility of advertising, it flew like dominoes in less than an hour from plugging in. Facebook needs to either disable artificial intelligence that doesn’t know what it’s doing or refine the connection for this plugin instead of banning people for their bugs.
I wrote to them a week ago and still have no answer what really happened. Because myself also have no idea what they really mean by “After reviewing your commerce account, we found that it doesn’t comply with our Commerce eligibility requirements, so your shop isn’t visible to potential customers. that your shop should be published, you can see details and request a review in “Account quality”. Apart from installing this plugin and connecting the store, I didn’t do anything else.

You have no idea how happy I am to have accidently discovered this discussion. FB had me in jail a couple of times and forced me to delete my account and start again after about 8 years. They turned off my WhatsApp, buGt I was able to restore it. IG they didn’t seem concerned about. To use this plugin I will surely create a seperate FB account to test the waters. So thanks again for this post
