    hye first of all thanks for the great plugin

    however i have been struggling to set up auto posting for FB.

    I have been getting this error

    Array
    (
        [pgID] =>
        [isPosted] => 0
        [pDate] => 2014-05-02 15:59:17
        [Error] => (#200) The user hasn't authorized the application to perform this action
    )
    Array ( [pgID] => [isPosted] => 0 [pDate] => 2014-05-02 15:59:17 [Error] => (#200) The user hasn't authorized the application to perform this action )

    I am pretty sure I have followed the step correctly. I redid all the steps twice but the same error occur.

    I am not sure if this is relevant or not but when I would like to authorize i receive this error:

    The following permissions have not been approved for use and are not being shown to people using your app: user_photos, read_stream, manage_pages and user_groups.

    What should i do? Thanks

  • Having same issue.I did re-authorize, de-authorize and authorize, but still does not help. And in my profile app setting, it does not shows “Post on your behalf”. How I could give this permission? Its a page, where I am admin.

    Exactly same problem here. I also checked all the FAQ but found no solution.

    Facebook changed crap again.
    Now any new app created needs to either be submitted or not have certain permissions. One of those permissions happens to be auto posting, the one permission any website really needs.
    So unless you have an older app, more than 2 days old your sol.

    Ok so we wait.

    Facebook is now asking for more info then you have on your Facebook instructions page. I filled in everything extra myself, but it’s now asking for screenshots. I have no idea what it wants screenshots of?? Can you help? I know it’s facebook that’s causing all of these issues, but it seems like a TON of hoops to jump through…

    You don’t need to submit your apps for review anymore.

    https://www.nextscripts.com/updts/news/2014/05/facebook-api-2-0-issue-resolved/

    We have great news.

    After two weeks of making everyone crazy Facebook backed down on app review requirement. You no longer need to submit your app for review.

    Everything (well almost everything) went back to way it was before Apr 30, 2014

    The only new requirement from now on is that the facebook App, Facebook profile or page and the user who authorizes the app MUST belong to the same Facebook account.

    Please see the Update #7 here for the complete story:

    https://www.nextscripts.com/known-issues/facebook-issues/

    SNAP for WordPress version 3.3.7 is compatible with new requirements. Please update if you have earlier version.

    This issue is now closed.

    PS: if you still experience the problem, just create a new app and make sure that Facebook App, Facebook profile or page and the user who authorizes the app belong to the same Facebook account

    make sure that Facebook App, Facebook profile or page and the user who authorizes the app belong to the same Facebook account

    Do you mean that the user needs to be an administrator of the page? Or does the user have to be the owner of the page?

    I am administrator of a page, and I created the app, all following the instructions, but I keep getting the #200 error.

    The page I am working is a personal profile that was converted into a page, so I am pretty sure there is no owner.

    OK, my bad. I just needed to update the plugin..
    Thanks anyway for keeping up with policy changes from Facebook!
