When trying to authorise the facebook credentials it trys to redirect, but doesn’t

Redirecting to dashboard…not redirected? If there are no errors below then please try a different browser such as Google Chrome. Please contact us here if you weren’t redirected. Include a screenshot of this page in your support ticket.

It does not redirect, I am just choosing a page, no groups, no instagram.

Hi

Thanks for the update, I have just tried and am getting this error.

No Facebook pages or groups were given authorization for posting. Please make sure you have higher access to a Facebook page or group.

I am admin of the facebook page I am trying to authorise. I have access to manage everything on the facebook page

I have the same exact problem. The Facebook still doesn’t connect

Fast solution I have found:
disable all of your plugin
connect revive old post
ReEnable your plugin

Hi @bravo14,

Thank you for your patience.

I’m writing to update you regarding the issue you’re experiencing. Currently, Facebook users with Pages under a Business Suite Account are encountering difficulties adding the pages to the plugin. Our Products team is currently working to resolve this by ensuring compatibility with the latest Facebook changes about the Business Suite account.

In the meantime, you may consider the following workarounds:

1. If feasible, try removing the pages from the Business Suite Account administration.
2. Alternatively, you can use a secondary account that is set as a simple administrator for the page and is not connected to the Business Suite Account.

The key point to remember is that the Facebook account and the desired pages should not be associated with the same Business Suite Account. The Facebook account should be a simple administrator for the page.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. We’re here to assist you.

Best regards,

Andreea

Are we saying that if someone else has access to the page but not throug the Business Suite then we get them to authorise the app?

Afternoon

I have created a new fb accoutn and given that profile full access to the page, when authorising I get the message below

Could not link Revive Social to Facebook

You may not be connected to the network or we could not establish a connection with our server. Please check your connection and try again later.

Hey @bravo14,

This error doesn’t seem to be directly linked to ROP.

Can you try to set up the connection again and see how it works?

I am facing the same issue when tryting to connect my Facebook Page.

“Facebook SDK returned an error: Cross-site request forgery validation failed. Required param “state” missing from persistent data.”

Tried to reconnect many times. Cleared cache and also deactivated all the plugins on the site as suggested by @whitewizard00, but the issue persists.

It seems like something changed in FB that you will need to fix.
