Facebook App Review Required for SocialCountPlus?

I received a notice from facebook for developers that my SocialCountPlus app may need to be reviewed by 13 July 2018. Is this because I am using their API v2.6 (Available until July 13, 2018)? Is there any risk to my facebook social count if I upgrade to the current rev of their API (v3.0)?

Here is their message:
“With the August 2, 2018 App Review deadline fast approaching, it is important that you submit your app for review so you don’t lose your current API access. This is required due to the recent update to the Facebook App Review process and API permissions model changes announced at F8 2018. Learn More.

If your app is not submitted for review, you will lose access to any permissions or features requiring review, including these:

user_friends

user_link

user_gender

user_age_range

The Facebook Platform APIs permissions and features have been updated with these changes. Please review the FAQ to ensure you request the correct permissions and features with your App Review submission. If you no longer require these permissions, no further action is required.

If access to the permissions and features is approved, the app may require business verification. Not following these additional steps may result in loss of API access. Learn more about App Review.
