Facebook admin id/app id

What do I need the facebook app id or admin id for? And where do I find them? Sorry if this questions sounds a bit “noobish”, but ATM I have no idea about it.
Beside that, the plugin is working flawlessly, but seems to slow down the web site a bit. Anyway, thanks for that plugin.
