Facebbok properties are missing: fb:app_id

    Hi.
    For the past few days whenever I share a link of my site on facebook the image doesn’t show. I tried Open Graph debugger and I get this message: The following required properties are missing: fb:app_id

    I even created a Facebook app (even though I didn’t need one) and added its ID on the Facebook tab of my Yoast plugin but it didn’t fixe the issue.

    What can I do to solve it? My site is about travelling so sharing on Facebook without an image is pointless.

  • You’re right, it’s odd as the debugger is saying that “og:image” should be provided, and checking your source code I can see that it is. As it appears to be the Yoast SEO plugin that’s providing the og markup, I suggest you contact them about it.
