Fabulous plugin and support
-
This plugin from ThemeHigh does everything we need and more. We present Webinars, so we needed a way to let people bring family members to our Webinars at a discounted price. No problem – we added a field with the price we wanted, and used Logic so that another field appears for a 3rd person to register once the 2nd Attendee field has data in it. And then a field for a 4th Attendee after there is data in the previous one. I think the Price field is only in the Pro version, which is very reasonably priced by the way.
We created fields where Attendees can tell us the Name and Date of the Webinar they are registering for, and who the Instructor is. We put those above the Add to Cart button.
Then we put the Additional Attendee fields below the Add to Cart button.
It did take me a while to figure out how to use the Sections in order to put the fields in 2 different places: You create a Section first and give it a name, then add the Fields you want in that Section. Then create another Section and add new fields into that Section.
Support was very fast and efficient when I asked them how to add space between the fields. They sent me a code snippet to put into the Custom CSS field in the Customize section of the website. It works perfectly.
By the way, the extra fields are added to the Product Sales Page – not to the Add Product page – and I like that. I get nervous about changes to the WC Add Product page, so it suits me fine to create fields and then add them to the Product Sales Page.
I am pretty ignorant when it comes to this kind of thing – and I am almost 80 years old – so if I can figure it out, anybody can.
Thank You ThemeHigh, and congratulations on creating a fabulous plugin.
