• I just downloaded the latest final build of WordPress 1.2 and did a fresh install on one of my servers, and I am pretty pleased with all the work that has been done to clear out many of the outstanding bugs.
However, I just noticed a few, rather irritating eyesores, that could have been fixed before the final build was released to the public.
I’m not sure if this is the best place to post this, but I hope it will catch the attention of some of the developers here.
When using Opera (version 7.50), the /wp-admin/post.php has some formating problems. It can be better understood from the following image link, https://proton.dreamflow.nl/wp-content/images/post-in-opera.gif .
However, it works perfectly in IE6. As for the rest of the browsers like netscape, firefox, etc, I hoped the rest of the active members can test it out.
In the second case, which came to my attention, was wp-admin/profile.php has some extra text & links:

    SideBar
Add this link to your favorites:
    WordPress Sidebar.

which was visible only in IE6, but not in existence when using Opera 7.50. When I tested the previous RC1 and RC2, the above text & links did not show up in IE6 or Opera 7.50.
I think all these can be easily verified and fixed. (Probably a patch release will be good?)
