    Hi

We purchased your plugin and created pages using its bulk features, but we have an issue with them, as the page speed is extremrely slow with a “wait” time of 15-30 seconds before the page even starts to load.

None of our regular pages have this wait time, so it must have something to do with these particular pages.

I have tried deactivating most of our plugins to test, if it is a compatibility issue with MPG, but this does not appear to be the case? At least I was unable to increase load time in any meaningful way.

I am writing on this forum board, because the contact feature in the plugin doesn′t work. It just says that the message has been sent, but I receive no reply nor confirmation on my mail.

Looking forward to hear from you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @sanchoclo

    1. How much rows in your source file and what is size (Mb) of the source file?
    2487 rows / 11 headers – 1,51 MB

    2. Which version of PHP installed on your server?
    7.4.9

    3. Did you try to enable some kind of caching in MPG?
Yes, and then I also disabled it, in order to see if it was a plugin conflict. Nothing changed.

    4. Which version of MPG you’re using?
    Version 2.5

    5. What’s the extension of source file (.xlsx or .csv)?
    .xlsx

    Hi, @searchcomet123
    1. Ok, 2. Good
    3. Are you sure that enabling cache in MPG is have no affect to pages loading tome?
Pay attention, that if you open generated page in browser, where you’re logged in – caching will not work. If you want to check – open generated page in Incognito mode.

    4. Good
    5. Try to resave .xlsx to .csv, and upload the .csv file to MPG again. .csv is more lightweight and reading at tens times faster than .xlsx (because xlsx has a more difficult structure and compressed)

P.S: As I see, for now generated page was loaded about for 5 seconds. Why it’s faster that few days ago? What did you do?

    3) I just looked under the cache-tab – it says “Disable” under the Disk option, so I am guessing that one is active currently? It does say “Pages in cache: 0” and “Cache Size: 0MB” – I just tried disabling it and reenabling, so now I will wait and see if that helps.

    5) I will do that.

I agree with your comment – it is MUCH faster now. Not sure what has changed? It is still a few seconds slower, but it is definitely much better!

I will try improving the feed with csv, and hopefully that will help even more. I will let you know, if the pages slow down again, otherwise I would consider this issue fixed! ??

    @searchcomet123 Cool, thank you.
I’ve checked, and now page loading time is about 4 seconds: https://prnt.sc/vtpc32

P.S: If you’re using (for example) 5 columns from the source file – remove other 6.
So less data in the source file – so better performance.

P.S.2: We would be very grateful if you would like to provide feedback for our plugin. Just a few words will be very helpful.
