I’m working on a newly-built site without any users and I haven’t encountered any issue so far except that it takes too long to load the login and logout pages with Brute Force’s Login Whitelist turned on. Is there a reason for this to happen? Is it somehow related to there being up to 6 ‘me’ in Logged In Users list, with 1 of them on ipv6 and the rest on different sets of ipv4?

    Hi,

    – Do you have any cache plugin installed in your site?
    – What type of server is your site hosted in?
    – What happens if you disable all other plugins except ours and you run a test?

    Thank you

    Hi,

    – w3 total
    – shared
    – no noticeable difference, still as slow

I do not have a great need to turn on this feature yet, but it would be nice to know. Appreciate the assistance.

Hi, do you know how much memory is allocated to your account?

    Thank you

Sorry I don’t think it is stated anywhere. But if memory is the problem, the issue should have been fixed when I disabled other features as well, if I’m not mistaken? Only this particular checkbox messed with the login and logout page loading speed, as per my basic check.

    Hi,

I understand what you mean. At present no one is reporting this issue and I have tested this in my dev sites and I can’t reproduce this issue myself.

Go to WP Security -> Dashboard -> System Info. This will give you the information I am after about your sever specs and your WordPress installation.

    Thank you

    Thank you,

Can you ask your host about your server type? For example is it a linux, Windows, Nginx etc.

Also can you provide the following information MySQL Version :

Then go to WP Security -> Filesystem Security -> Host System Logs and check the logs to see what they reveal.

    Thank you

It should be Apache although I have yet to learn how to check. (Edit: I have confirmed this with my host provider)
    MySQL Version : 5.7.29
    and in Host System Logs:
    No system logs were found!
