Extremely slow loading of administrator panel

    We are experiencing extremely slow loading of the administrator panel when the plugin is activated. It takes around 30 seconds to load a page. If I deactivate this plugin the load time is reduced to 3 seconds. I am not sure what is the reason for this. This was not the case earlier, but for some reason started happening recently.

    I have updated to the latest version of the plugin. WordPress version is 6.4.2. I have tested with both php 7.4 and 8.2 with the same results.

    I am sorry for that.

    I just brought out a new release which fixed a bug with the direct analysis mode, which may belong to that problem. With the new version, does the problem still occur at all?

    • If yes: Does the problem occur even if you deactivate the Analysis Mode and the Direct Analysis Mode?
      • If yes: Can you just press F12 and look whether any JavaScript errors occur?
        • If yes: Please post it
        • If no: In the F12-Window, can you navigate to tab “network” and look whether there are any ressources with a very long loading-time?

    Thank you for a quick response.

    • I tested the new version now. Same results, unfortunately.
    • Also the same with direct analysis and analysis mode deactivated.
    • No errors in the console.
    • edit.php is the cause of the long loading time (23 seconds)

    Are you running the plugin in “Explicit Mode”?

    If not: please try the explicit mode

    It turned out that the issue was a very big amount of messages in the “Analytic box” (248k), as the analysis mode was left on. When deleting this the administration panel loads a lot faster.

    Hi.

    I’ve fixed that anyway. A message-count should not slow down anything, even not with 284k of messages. Next time it shouldn’t slow down anymore.
