Extremely glitchy

You do realize that 5 Stars is an excellent rating but you had nothing good to say about the plugin. Perhaps you should consider revising your rating accordingly, or revise your comment? smh

I believe that you tested more than one plugin at the same time and you are commenting on the wrong plugin.

I really gave this a try but randomly the calendar just becomes disabled and shows no booking times. After a successful booking you can’t book another appointment at another time (calendar becomes disabled).

This is definitely not possible. I cannot even imagine anything like “calendar becomes disabled”. I wished you gave a link to the booking page and asked a support request.

There is no option to set appointment duration.

Appointment duration is easily set by admin by setting service duration on Business Settings > Services page.

Appointment duration can even picked by user on the front end by using Variable Durations addon:

There is no option to ad custom fields to the booking form.

Glitchy

I am not only a plugin developer, but also a freelance developer who provides booking project solutions to clients. In my own projects I am always using WP BASE and therefore I am noticing any potential issues in the first hand and fixing them immediately. Considering this and having a development history of 8 years, I cannot imagine what glitches WP BASE could have.
