Extremely Disappointing Don’t Purchase

  • Dont purchase this plugin. it is a massive scam.
    I paid for a premium membership with for this plugin, firstly I was extremely disappointed with how slow and unresponsive this plugin was (my internet is just fine and runs everything else perfectly). Being able to get over that I was met with extremely low image quality and no ability to find correct file sizes to avoid the extreme compression that this plugin uses. Their solution is another plugin they’re endorsed by, a compression plugin called Imagify, which I tried. I was further disappointed by this plugin. I used the “free trial” feature which was meant to give me a preview of how it works, however this was yet another scam, where I was met with error messages for every image that I tried to “optimise” so they call it, and once again.. was pushed to pay for basic features they promised in their free trial. These errors used up my whole “trial” allowance and I was left with nothing but poorly compressed images and a whole lot of time wasted trying to work around these shocking plugins. I regret spending money on this product and strongly believe that you shouldn’t install this plugin, coming from a photographer who requires high image quality. I hope that they improve their plugin drastically to be more user friendly because honestly this is a horrible outcome to what I thought to be a promising plugin.

    @txwhico1 – I’m truly sorry to hear of your experience with our plugin. I’d like to reply to some of the comments you’ve made. My replies below in bold:

If your image files are large, this will weigh down your page load time and your galleries would be slower to load. Another thing to keep in mind is the performance of your hosting provider. If you’re on a shared server, your resources will be limited. If another hosting account on your same [shared] server is getting a lot of traffic, your site will load slower – even more slow if you have a large gallery loading on your page. If your hosting provider has you running on outdated server settings, that can cause issues, not just with our plugin – but also WordPress itself. Websites with a lot of plugins risk loading several scripts on a page, which can also slow down a page or gallery. So any one of these possibilities, or a combination of them and others can result in negative performance. Our gallery plugin is robust because it has a lot included in it; a full gallery management system, and your gallery displays that hold several image files. If our plugin lives in a healthy website environment, you shouldn’t see a decline in performance.
