    the design is pretty messy, information doesn’t display properly that way. there seems to be a lack of hierarchy.

    Could you be more specific? What 1 or two things would you change?

    Not bad!
    Maybe more icons instead of repeating headers and such would increase legibility. A tighter…err, narrower, main column would be easier for the eyes to follow. That’s 2 things ??

    This is a site I would like to come back to and hopefully many with me, hence the thoughts about icons.

    icons eh?

    I’ve redesigned the site to be a little more visually dynamic. Depending on the category of the post, the post snippets get different background that incorporate icons into them. I think it mixes up the front page a little more.
