Hi, can you give an example of what you are trying to achieve?

    Thank you

I don’t have an example, but it really is something very simple. We need the administrative capabilities to set up users and passwords and control which files / pages each user can access. There is no requirement for the users to provide input or postings.

Okay, let me see if I understand what you require. You don’t want to allow people to register or sign up. You want someone like an administrator to create the accounts manually and provide the correct access level to each user created. Is that correct?

That has been very helpful! But now I get the message on the page of: “Free membership is disabled on this site. Please make a payment from the Join us page to pay for a premium membership.

You will receive a unique link via email after the payment. You will be able to use that link to complete the premium membership registration.”

I was hoping to get a login form page. What have I done wrong?

Thank-you. As I understand it, this will allow anyone the ability to register through the registration page which the instructions indicate. We want to control who is allowed to join by setting them up ourselves in your plug-in. I tried every step, except the registration page and got the following error message: “Error! Failed to retrieve membership level ID from the membership info object”.

I am asking for something which the plug-in isn’t designed to do?

You could try the following. Follow the instructions above for the free registration but don’t publish that page. Another words that page must not be visible on your front page. If you don’t add a free membership level then the plugin thinks you will add a paid membership level which you don’t want to do.

    This might work.

I must say, you have been EXTREMELY helpful!

I found that there was a conflict between the theme I was using and your plug-in. I have changed the theme and all seems to be working extremely well.

I was wondering if there is a way to establish different re-direct pages based upon which group the member is assigned to? For example, User A is in Group called Free. User B is in Group called Paid. User A is verified and logged in, the user would land on a different page than when User B logs in.
