Extracting Page Text from wp-admin directory

Wordpress doesn’t store posts/page content in files, but in a database. *.php files contain only templates and functions.

WP stores most of the things (aside themes, media files and plugins) in a database:

From wp-content you will only be able to recover

• themes
• plugins
• media files (uploads)
• translation files

If you have a database backup you can restore your posts/pages as it is described at

Restoring Your Database From Backup

You can find a copy of your site and then cut and paste the text. Good luck!
