• Evening everyone.

I do not use the theme switcher at the moment, I’m not finished editing all the themes to show the same stuff yet.

Anyhow, at the moment I am interested in finding a way to extract the name of the theme currently in use so that it can be listed in the sidebar automatically. What I mean is if I am using a theme called ABC I would like to have that displayed for my visitors. Then, if I switch the theme again, the name in the sidebar automatically changes to reflect the new theme in use.

Is there a WP tag I can use to extract the theme information just the name of it at least? I know I can just hardcode the name of the theme each time I change it but I was hoping for something to do it automaticaly for me.

    Thanks.

Why each time? Since every theme has its own sidebar.php file – it is enough to hardcode once…

Sometimes the obvious is right there under your nose but you just don’t see it.

You are right, I guess I wasn’t thinking clearly last night when I wrote this.
