extract site out of a multisite install and convert to a wordpress single instal

dear everyone,

what would be the best way to extract / export a site out of a multisite install so i can convert / import it into a single wordpress install?

the multisite install i use is running the MU domain mapping plugin and the sites are installed in sub directories.

so …. what would be the easiest way to accomplish this?

is it possible to use the export / import feature of worpdress?
or are there some specific plugins for this task?

any help is more than appreciated and i’m really greatful if someone here could guide me to the right direction ??
