Extract part of string

Is it possible to extract part of a string?

Example: “Message”: Weak power grid fluctuations can occur.\r\nAurora – Aurora may be visible at high latitudes such as Canada and Alaska.

I would then just want to grab “Aurora may be visible at high latitudes such as Canada and Alaska”. This is possible with regex, but does this plugin also work with regex?
