Extra whitespace in new Topic title

    Hello, I am having an issue where new topics have a space character always in the 7th position of a new topic title.
    For example: “[MFAA] New topic: Testin g Forum”
    However when viewing the topic there is no space in the forum topic, and replies to the topic do not have any spacing problems, it is just the [topic-title] short code that seems to have the problem.
    Any help is very much appreciated,

    Hi Zach,

    Have you tried creating a staging environment and turning off all plugins except for bbpress and bbpnns? It’s a good way to rule out conflicts.

    Good afternoon Vinny, so after a good amount of testing I have determined that the issue only happens when sending email through send grid, when using my local SMTP server it renders fine.
    Any idea what could cause that?

    Can you send me the source code of one of the messages sent via sendgrid? It might be helpful. Please send it to vinny [at] usestrict [dot] net.

    Other than that, I’d try asking Sendgrid for support.

    It just occurred to me, can you try toggling the UTF-8 Subject Line setting in Settings > Forums > Email Notifications?
