    I would like to be able to add some formatted text and a little image in the WP-Polls widget at the end right after View Results/Vote button. The text/image should be different, depending on the poll displayed. Is there a way to do it now, and if not, could you take it as a feature request?

    You can add that via template WP-Admin -> Polls -> Polls Template. But it is a global template and not a per poll basis. I don’t intend to touch that for now.

    Global template won’t work for this situation. What do you think about using a text widget with a [poll id="2"] or similar shortcode with <img src=".. code to display a picture?

    If I am not wrong shortcode is not parsed in text widget. You will probably need a PHP widget than u can use <?php get_poll(2); ?>

    I just checked – it seems the shortcode is parsed, but I am not sure if everything else works properly.
