"Extra shortcodes" add-on: "Photo Panels" usable as Post links?

Hey there,
I was wondering, if it was possible to use the photo panels in the add-on “Extra-Shortcodes” as links to oyur posts. So that the posto picture is shown on top inside the box and an excerpt below the picture but still inside the box. If yoo click on it then you should be forwarded to the post. Is that possible? I really like that design and I′ve been lokoking for something like this for a long time now..
If it was working like that, I′d buy the add-on so that I can finally make my pages with certain posts on it!
