Extra Settings/Variables

  • ive just started using wordpress as cms.

    Is it possible to make extra settings
    e.g. my_name = “Mr. John Doe”

    and can i possibly include it on a post or page.
    sumtin like.

    hi my name is [my_name]

    i know this stuff exists somewhere but i can seem to find it.
    Ive been googling for hours now. ??

  • Yep! Lookin for this as well. Want to populate a text widget in a sidebar with the contents of [mytext]. One change to [mytext] and all 6 or all 60 blogs get the alteration.
