Extra post displayed on home page

    Hi,
    I have an issue on Rowling home page.
    Reading settings are defined to display 12 posts on home page, but actually 13 are displayed. Regardless the setting value, always one extra post is displayed.
    Is this a known issue?
    I haven′t modified the original theme, and I have updated this morning to the last Rowling version.

    Hi @susannakosic,

    If you have a sticky post set, that post is not counted towards the number of posts set in Settings → Reading. In other words, if you have set 12 posts to be displayed, and a sticky post exists, 13 posts will be displayed. That’s how WordPress behaves by default, so it’s not set in the theme.
