    Hello @johnfeaver

Thank you very much for using our plugin. How are you associating the PDF files to the products?

    Best regards.

Some songs have a simple pdf which is linked as the “audio file for sale”. In the case of this song (Elegy), I initially uploaded a simple pdf as I was learning, but realized I needed to upload a zip of various versions of the song, so I linked that instead. You can see that on page 4 of the Product Page. So, all songs have a pdf or zip.

    Hello @johnfeaver

I’m visiting your website from Win 11 on PC, and the links to the PDF files are there. Please look at the screenshot image below:

    Best regards.

Let me explain better. The website is essentially a means to provide free downloads of sheet music for songs my father wrote/arranged. In the example you site, that pdf is a scan of the sheet music. That’s behaving as expected.

What I do NOT expect is a partial display of one of the uploaded pdfs on EVERY product listed. This behavior is ONLY on iPhone.

    Hello @johnfeaver

The plugin does not control how the devices display the downloaded files.

When you configure the store to distribute the products for free, the plugin only inserts links to the uploaded files. It does not modify the files.

    Best regards.

Notice that a fragment of an unrelated song pdf is displayed on the Music Store product page. This is quite apart from what happens when the song pdf is downloaded.

    Hello @johnfeaver

The PDF file visualization in the iPhone, it is not controlled by the plugin. Please read the Safari mobile documentation. Safari mobile displays partial PDF files from the web.

I finally figured it out. If I don’t provide a featured image, Android/Windows places a generic small logo and the song title on the product/detail pages; iPhone/Safari grabs a nearby PDF and displays that no matter what song it is. I can fix this by populating featured images on each song. Thanks for your help.

    Hello @johnfeaver

Please note the plugin allows you to display an image by default if the song does not have a cover associated. You can select the image through the “Default cover image” in the store’s settings.

    Best regards.
