Extra parameters not working

Hi, I want to love this plugin, but it’s currently giving me a hard time if I want to use the extra parameters. I’m using Divi and I want to show the last “project” which is a divi built-in custom post type. This plugin can pull in the “projects” but it doesn’t respond to the custom parameters I add.

I have tried this in both a text and a code module:
[recentposts-sc numberofposts=”4″ post_type=”project” get_cat_name=”true”]

It still won’t show me the category, it did not show me 4 projects, and it showed “Posted on…” so it seems like whatever parameters I’m passing are being ignored.

I only want to show title, category, and featured image.
And I only want to show ONE project, which would be the latest one.

Please help
