Extra modal bug with Front-ends submission plugin

    This is the calendar that I am currently looking to solve the problem for. If you click on a calendar category then use the inspector you will see two (“create-event-modal”) tags. However, from within the same view click another category and use the inspector and you will now see 3 tags. The third one is overlaying the categories dropdown and is what is being partially altered when clicking the post-event button. This disables those buttons and should not be there, but I can’t quite figure out where it is coming from. Any hints or help would be appreciated.

    Last note, Firefox shows category button disabled, but it looks like it only creates problems for the post event modal in Safari.
