Extra Long Pause During Facebook Login and Approving App

  • Once the Facebook Approval for the app or simple login has been made there is an extra long pause on the site before a white page is redirected to the homepage. Is there a solution for this?

    I also noticed when the Facebook App is denied or canceled an error message is displayed with no way back to the site. I think it would be better if the page failed back to the login screen with the error message above it.

    Any chance I can get some assistance on this.

    I am a programmer and will spend some time on this when I find some time (I was hoping you might already be aware of this and have some pointers for me). Would you be willing to add in a fix to your core so I may follow your updates?

    Im really looking for a way to let users know the site is performing actions instead of a white screen for a few too many seconds. Since it looks like the site is broken from the extra long pause on a white screen before redirected.

    This is because, I believe, it is getting the users info again from fb. ( and friends etc if you have that enabled ) I had tried to add a jquery loader with no joy.
    If you get anywhere with this let me know. the page that it hangs on I believe is the hybridauth portion of the plugin endpoint or auth if I remember correctly. Just FYI I am not the author
